About Me

Experienced. Supportive. BACP Registered.

I am qualified to work with a wide variety of problems and issues either short or longer term but I have particular training in; domestic abuse, bereavement loss and grief, spirituality/religion, sexuality and cultural issues.

I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, low self esteem/confidence, family issues, cross-cultural relationships, relationship issues, separation and divorce, emotional abuse, sexual abuse and stress.

My History

I am a professional, fully qualified counsellor with over 5 years experience in providing counselling and over 4 years running a successful private counselling practice in Manchester.

My journey into counselling began with my own personal experience of therapy, which I found to be so supportive and eye-opening. I consider this work a privilege and a gift.

I have previous experience providing voluntary counselling for women in a charity based in Stockport, where I was lucky enough to further develop my working knowledge and see the positive outcomes experienced by women I have helped during that time.

I am a registered member of the BACP and practice within their professional framework. I have professional liability insurance and regular supervision. These elements ensure that I work in a professional and ethical way.

My core training and the way I work is person-centred. Find out more about about the way I work.
